|Mateus 5:1| Seeing the multitudes, he went up onto the mountain. When he had sat down, his disciples came to him.

|Mateus 5:2| He opened his mouth and taught them, saying,

|Mateus 5:3| “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

|Mateus 5:4| Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

|Mateus 5:5| Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.

|Mateus 5:6| Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.

|Mateus 5:7| Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

|Mateus 5:8| Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

|Mateus 5:9| Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
