The Truth Will Set You Free

|João 8:31| So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him,c “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,

|João 8:32|and you will d know the truth, and the truth e will set you free.”

|João 8:33| They answered him, f “We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?”

|João 8:34| Jesus answered them,“Truly, truly, I say to you, g everyone who practices sin is a slave 2 to sin.

|João 8:35|h The slave does not remain in the house forever; i the son remains forever.
